SUBMISSION AND RETRIEVAL OF AN RECORDINGS
To ensure confidence in the integrity of the A/V recording of an event, it is recommended that Police/Public Participants of TWA obtain certified copies of submitted AN recordings for their records/files for future reference and evidence. In accordance with the aforementioned, please note the following:
⦁ It is the Participant’s responsibility to retain a copy of their case ID# in a safe and confidential location.
⦁ A/V Recordings submitted to TWA can only be released upon the presentation of an identification case number. TWA does not associate ID numbers with the names or identities of any Participant.
⦁ Only requests for A/V recordings submitted using a TWA e-mail will be honored.
⦁ Requests for A/V recordings must be presented within thirty (30) days of the date that the recording was submitted.
⦁ Unless arrangements have been made for extended retention of records, all A/V recordings that have been retained on TWA servers after thirty (30) days will be automatically deleted on day 31.
⦁ Deleted recordings cannot and will not be retrieved.
⦁ Only upon receipt of a written consent and ID Case number will recordings be released to a third party.
